21th April – Living legends on the stage

Jam of the jams: Budapest Gold Stars

We are honoured to have four world-class artists on one stage: three key players and a multi-talented frontman.
Jam of the jams for the quick-eared with classical, Balkan, rock and klezmer tunes featuring living legends, the Budapest Gold Stars Supergroup.

Omega is one of the most popular Hungarian bands, and BSG is the new project of their keyboarder. 🤘
Their song ‘Gyöngyhajú lány’ was adapted by stars like Kanye West, Whiz Khalifa and the Scorpions. There is a new BBC series where this will be the title song.

Members of this unique supergroup are:
 – Laszlo Benko, keyboard player of ever-popular Omega, representing rock music in its entirety
 – Bela Szakcsi Lakatos, king of European jazz piano of the last decades
 – Ferenc “Fegya” Javori, leader of internationally recognized Budapest Klezmer Band and
 – Peter Muller Sziami, singer, poet and producer, an absolute well-known figure of the Hungarian alternative music scene, the perfect entertainer.

The show is guaranteed to surprise you with its musical versatility. Evergreen rock and beat tunes combined with well known classical pieces, virtuoso jazz improvisations, and heartwarming Odessa folk dances – with some Britanny tunes from centuries ago. Not to be missed!

A £7 entry fee will be added to your bill. Please plan to arrive before 7 PM.
